Why I Should Be Principal For A Day

Why I Should Be Principal For A Day

Do you think I should be principal for A day? (yeah!!!!)
Well then if you DON’T then here are some reasons why I should be.

Firstly I will make learning fun and not boring for students. My activities will be as fun as anyone can possibly imagine and some interesting games that involve learning as well but they are fun at the same time

Secondly I will bring out equipment for kids to use so they don’t get bored, they have something to do and they have fun during morning tea and lunch. I will bring bikes, scooters and balls. I will also bring out other outside playment things for you to play with.

My last and final reason is that I will make school a good and safe environment. I’ll make sure the play areas are safe, everyone has fun and no one gets left out.

I believe that you have been convinced. Now that you have heard my reasons why I should be principal for a day, all those people that didn’t think I should be principal for just one day, now you can answer me what you think now. Therefore that’s why I should be principal for a day
I hope you will choose me to be principal for a day.

The Runaway Child

The Runaway Child

One dark night in a small poor village there was a little hut just near the forest. In that hut there is a mum and a dad. They have a nine year old child. Her name is Abby. Her dad is a farmer. He works for a farm company. He didn’t get paid very much. All he could by for the family was bread for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even though the family was poor it was still enough for them to survive. One day, Abby’s Dad came home with sad news. Her Dad’s job got replaced by a guy who’s family was almost about to die and also because he was the laziest on the farm. It was nearly time for bed. Abby was already tucked up in bed ready to go to sleep. She closed her eyes. Abby heard the door shut behind her. Her parents had left the room. Later that night when her parents were asleep, she got up got dressed into warm clothes, packed her bag and set off into the night sky. Abby found the entrance to the forest. She felt a bit nervous and scared but she had to do something other wise her family would die from nothing to eat or drink. The forest was full of animals that could be eaten, so technically it was like Abby was hunting. She bought with her a pocket knife just in case of need. She set off into the dark forest and not to be seen by a human. Abby tried to find shelter, but she had no luck so she lay down under a oak tree. It wasn’t comfortable having pinecones drop down on you well you try to sleep. Then she sees the bush shake. Out popped a puppy. It said ‘come with me.’ So Abby quickly moved before another pinecone fell on her. The puppy lead her to a cave with a little slide to get down, well that’s what the pup said. Abby put her legs in first. The puppy said right before she went down ‘good luck.’Abby went down. It wasn’t just a little drop, it was a long deep drop. Abby opened her eyes and she was back in bed. It must have been a dream.

Brain

Brain

I have been wondering what I want to know about the brain. Here are some questions I have done.

What does your brain do to your body?
Your brain is like the boss of your body. It controls every movement that you do.

What is the brain made of?
nerve cells is what the brain is made of. Just like all the other parts of your body, they're made of cells.

What is the most important part of your brain?
your brainstem is your most important part of your brain. It’s the part that connects to your spinal cord. It also controls your breathing so if you didn’t have it you would die.

What does the cerebellum do?
It gathers information from the spinal cord and other parts of the body.

How does the temporal lobe control your body?
As you can see in the picture bellow, the brain has a line right down the middle. The left side of the brain controls the left side of the body and the right side of the brain controls the right side of the body.

The Amazing Guy Fawkes

The Amazing Guy Fawkes

At nine o'clock on Saturday, I was going to go see the Guy Fawkes in town at the BNZ bank. I was going to see my auntie, uncle and my cousins Jahzel and Carter.

It was 8:30 when I left home to go see the Guy Fawkes. My Mum wanted to leave earlier so we could find a good carpark before they all are taken. But my Dad picked Me and my Brother up from after school care too late, and we had to have a shower before we left because my Mum didn’t want us to look grubby and messy in front of the family.

We finally Made it to the BNZ bank where my auntie works. She was inside by the door waiting for us to come in. I came running up ahead of my Brother and my Mum. I was so excited like crazy. I couldn’t wait to see my cousins. Especially Carter. He’s only a baby and is almost one.

As soon as I got comfortable and settled in, it started. The first one was the biggest out of all of them. It was the starting off one. It was a bright, shiny and gold one and it was my favourite out of all of them. My cousin Jahzel was trying to look for the heart shaped ones but there were only like three or four. There’s normally more than three or four, there’s like about ten. There was a big one which was the last and ending one. The fireworks weren't that long, they were only five minutes long.

Then it was time to go. On the way home I fell asleep because it was about 9:00, way past my bedtime. The Guy Fawkes night was so cool I wish they did it every night.

Moment In Time About Usain Bolt

I Won The Gold Medal!

I am at the Rio stadium. I just won another gold medal for Jamaica in the 100metre sprint.

I feel so tired and sleepy.Sleepy like a sleepy slippery slimy slithering sloth dragging a box to the other side of the world. Everyone in the crowd is shouting “Usain Bolt,  Usain Bolt,  Usain Bolt  YYYAAAYYY.”

I am thinking in my head “I may be the fastest man in the Olympics or maybe the whole entire world, but what about my team mates? Will they be alright without me since that is my latest and last run ever.” No more olympics, Running and racing, just spending time with my family.

Wait. But before I leave, I could take some selfies with my fans. I can see the guy at the counter grab the microphone. He shouts out to the crowd “if you want a selfie with Usain Bolt, just come down onto the track and come take your selfie. If you do want a selfie, don’t muck about because Usain Bolt may be gone by the time you want your selfie taken.”
The crowd came running straight for me. The workers started to move everything out of the way. It’s like everyone that was watching the sprint wanted a selfie.
As soon as everything was moved and it was all clear everyone ran as fast as they can to get their picture first so they can leave first and early. It was like watching my very own race but more people.

The first person to take their selfie Was a boy that looked like a teenager and his name was Jonathan. He gave me his phone to me to hold for the photo. We both said my name,  Usain Bolt. Chick Chick. The first photo was taken. “Thank-you so much. It was an honor being the first one to take it with you. Bye”

What a great race.I Won The Gold Medal!
